Our Approach

Four Pillars of Care.

Every decision at Niche Legacy Living flows from a set of core commitments that distinguish us from conventional residential care.

01
🏡

Home First

Every design and operational decision starts with one question: does this feel like home? We prioritize comfort, warmth, and personal space — not policies built for large facilities.

02
👨‍👩‍👧

Family at Center

We keep families close and in the loop. Our residents' loved ones aren't visitors with a sign-in sheet — they're part of the community. Because that's what home actually means.

03
🌿

Dignity & Independence

We build environments where residents maintain real agency over their daily routines, preferences, and life. Our goal is to support autonomy, not replace it.

04
🤝

Community Over Institution

Small-scale, homelike settings intentionally designed to feel like home. Quiet mornings, shared meals, familiar faces — not a shift change and a room number.

Services

What We Provide.

Niche Legacy Living offers a full continuum of residential support — designed around each resident's unique needs and goals.

🏠

Residential Housing

Safe, clean, furnished private and semi-private rooms in a true single-family home setting — not a wing of a larger facility.

🤝

Personal Care Assistance

Individualized support with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility — provided with consistency and respect.

🧹

Housekeeping & Laundry

Regular housekeeping, linen service, and laundry — so residents can focus on living, not maintaining a home.

🍽️

Meals & Nutrition

Home-cooked meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences, served in a shared dining environment that fosters connection and community.

📋

Family Communication

Open, consistent communication with families about their loved one's day-to-day life — keeping everyone connected and at ease.

🔄

Transition Support

Structured support for residents transitioning from hospital discharge, rehabilitation, or family home settings — making the move as smooth as possible.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

The answers families most often need — before they even know to ask.

What is a group home?

A group home is a private residential property where a small number of adults live together in a shared home environment. Residents have their own personal space and share common areas — living rooms, dining spaces, outdoor areas — just as they would in any household. The difference is that they're not alone: there is staff on-site, meals are provided, and the home is maintained for them.

How is Niche Legacy Living different from a nursing home or assisted living facility?

Scale and feel. Nursing homes and large assisted living facilities serve dozens or hundreds of residents — ours serves a small household. There are no long hallways, no nurse stations, no institutional schedules. Residents share a real home: they eat at a real dining table, sit in a real living room, and are known by name — not room number. We are not a healthcare provider. We are a residential home with structure, community, and support built in.

Who are your residents?

We serve adults who want some support with daily living — whether due to aging, recovery, or chronic health conditions — but who want to remain in a warm, homelike environment rather than a large facility. If your loved one values independence, consistency, and genuine community, Niche Legacy Living may be the right fit.

Who are the people behind Niche Legacy Living?

Niche Legacy Living was founded by two sisters — Dr. Chinwe Anyanwu (CEO) and Dr. Nneka Anyanwu (COO) — who believed there had to be a better option between living alone and moving into a large facility. Our team is personally invested in every resident. This is a family-rooted business built on relationships, not a corporate residential operation.

Are you currently accepting residents?

Our flagship property at Evening Shade Court is currently undergoing renovation and preparing for opening. We are actively building our waitlist and welcome inquiries from families exploring options. Contact us at NicheLegacyLiving@gmail.com or call 346.464.7123.

What does the cost of care look like?

Pricing is individualized and based on each resident's needs, room selection, and services required. We are committed to transparency and will walk you through the full picture — no surprises. Contact us directly to discuss your situation.

How do I schedule a visit or consultation?

We welcome inquiries by phone, email, or through the contact form on this page. While our property is still in the renovation phase, we are available for consultations with families who are planning ahead. Early conversations help us understand your needs and ensure the best possible match.
